Karen has been working in the third sector since 2003, after a career in advertising and marketing. She has a broad and extensive range of skills and expertise from fundraising, event management, volunteer management, communication strategy and front-line experience with young people with complex and multiple disadvantage. Karen has raised significant funds for not-for-profit charities and has a strong passion to ensure that small charities become self-sustainable and have effective and long-lasting social impact.
Karen has recently become a Wellbeing Practitioner that offers creative and relational approaches to working with children and young people, from a multi-disciplinary perspective. Karen believes that through positive relationships and community engagement, she can help young people to find their inner potential and flourish.
